Skin Care Made Simple
I can spend so long on my skin care, especially in the evenings and sometimes it gets a bit ridiculous. I have so many bottles and jars of all different things that are meant to either firm, tone, moirsturise, replenish, remove black heads, stop wrinkles, soothe.. and the list goes on. Sometimes I think we can over do things with our skin, especially when it comes to our face, and instead of getting the outcome we want we make things worse by clogging our pores with too much product. I was excited to get the chance to try a very simple one step skin care routine from Aqua Aria. This is a Porcelain Cleansing Bar and is so simple to use, you use it like any soap apart from it doesn’t dry your skin at all and I was surprised with how smooth and milky it felt on my skin. Afterwards my skin felt so clean and soft, practically squeaky clean, I couldn’t believe I had only used one product and not the usual four or five or sometimes even more.
The Porcelain Cleansing Bar is made in Japan and Aqua Aria are committed to providing the most effective skin care with minimal ingredients. In fact they only have Four ingredients: Bentonite, Sekken Soji, Squalene and Glycerin. Bentonite is a porous clay which produces a negative electrical charge (ions), the negative ions are anti-agers and remove toxins, heavy metals, impurities, and chemicals. Sekken Soji is widely used in Japan as a cleansing agent, it is very mild and creates foam easily. Squalene has antioxidant components which reduce free radical damage, it acts as a lubricant on the skins surface and gives skin a soft and smooth appearance. Glycerin is a moisturiser and it nourishes the skin.
This cleansing bar can even be used to remove waterproof makeup. If you use it to remove makeup Aqua Aria recommend using it twice, once to remove the makeup and second to cleanse the skin. It cleanses away any impurities to reveal skin with a renewed radiance, and it really does, even after the first use. It is an all-in-one gentle formula that removes makeup, cleanses, tones and repairs. It is made with natural ceramics that are unique to Shinagawa (Japan), it is free from parabens, synthetics, non-hypoallergenic and is also fragrance free and 100% chemical free. This makes it suitable for a wide variety of skin types. It apparently also helps with acne, eczema, and minor skin irritations. As I don’t suffer from these I can not say if it helps Bbut it didn’t irritate my skin in the slightest, and felt very mild on my skin. This product is apparently even gentle enough for babies.
I love how this product fits in with a busy lifestyle and is so simple to use. It foams up nicely on the skin and leaves the skin looking radiant. I also like the fact that it is an anti-ager and it leaves you with healthier, more luminous skin with extended use. I have been using this product for two weeks now and I love how my skin feels. I usually have problems with the pores on my nose and with blackheads. Since I have been using this product they have cleared up and the skin on my nose feels so smooth and soft. This product will also last a very long time, a lot longer than your typical cleansers.
The price of Aqua Aria – Porcelain Cleansing Bar is $68, which is approx £40 (See below for 10% discount code). This may seem expensive, but since using it and seeing how long this will actually last and the results I have gained from this, I really think this is worth it and I will actually save money in the long run as I won’t have to buy a new one that often. I am definitely going to carry on using this product.
